Bus 95 to Famagosta, metro to Cadorna and a short walk to the Castello Sforesco. Built in 1368 as a fortress, enlarged and transformed into a splendid ducal palace by Franceso Sforza who became the lord of Milan 1450. It was graced by Bramante and Leonardo da Vinci. It is huge and few photos here do not give the size justice.
Today the Castello Sforzesco houses a lot of medieval works of art.

The museum houses Michelangelo's Rondanini Pieta. He was working on this when he died and so is unfinished.
The museum has a great collection of medieval weapons, armor and early pistols and rifles.
